The GB-LM4.0-PRO is Deye's newer-generation high-voltage battery module, built at a smaller 4.09 kWh, 102.4 V, 40 Ah unit size than the BOS-G line — intentionally, since it targets residential and small-commercial installations that typically need 8–25 kWh rather than the 15–60 kWh range the BOS-G platform is built for.

Modules stack from 2 up to 6 units in series, covering roughly 8.2 kWh to 24.5 kWh of usable capacity from one product family — enough range to size a system closely to the actual household or small-business load, rather than rounding up to the next large fixed-capacity unit.

Like the BOS-G line, each stack requires its own battery management unit — here the GB-LBS-PRO — and mounts onto a dedicated GB-LBase mounting base designed for the smaller module footprint, keeping the same design principle (cells + dedicated BMS + purpose-built mount) at a scale suited to smaller sites.

The chemistry and duty rating carry over from the BOS-G platform — LiFePO4 cells rated for roughly 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge with a 10-year warranty — so the choice between GB-L and BOS-G is primarily about system size, not a difference in underlying battery quality.
