The LR7-72HVD-650M belongs to LONGi's Hi-MO X10 generation, the manufacturer's flagship line built around back-contact (HPBC) cell technology. Moving the front-side busbars to the rear of the cell removes shading losses from metal grid lines, which is the main reason this module reaches up to 24.4% module efficiency — a meaningful step above standard PERC and many TOPCon panels of the same physical size.

Its dual-glass construction (3.2 mm tempered front glass over a full glass-glass laminate) gives the module roughly 80% bifaciality, meaning the rear surface can add a real, measurable energy gain when installed with adequate ground clearance and reflective ground cover — particularly useful on flat commercial roofs and carports where reflected light is abundant.
