The BOS-G-Pack5.1 is the base building block of Deye's BOS-G energy storage line: a single 5.12 kWh, 102.4 V LiFePO4 module rated at 100 Ah. Rather than sizing a battery bank around one large, fixed-capacity unit, the BOS-G architecture is built to be stacked — from 3 up to 12 modules in series — giving a usable range of roughly 15.4 kWh up to 61.4 kWh from the same base component, which keeps spare parts and service simple regardless of the final system size.
Each stack is paired with a BOS-G-PDU-2 battery management unit, which handles cell balancing, protection, and communication between the battery stack and the Deye hybrid inverter — a battery module by itself is only cells; the PDU is what makes the stack safe to operate and lets the inverter see it as a single coherent battery.
The modules mount into one of two rack sizes: the 3U-HRACK-2G (13-layer cabinet, holding up to 12 modules plus the PDU) for larger installations, or the compact 3U-LRACK-2G (9-layer, up to 8 modules plus PDU) where floor space is tighter. Both are standard rack form factors designed for plant rooms and dedicated battery enclosures rather than a garage wall mount.
LiFePO4 chemistry is chosen specifically for this scale of system for its thermal stability and long service life — Deye rates the BOS-G module for roughly 6,000 charge/discharge cycles at 90% depth of discharge, backed by a 10-year warranty.
